Did you know that in some churches over 36% of people are over 70. Wouldn’t it be great to offer your members, who have often supported your community for many years, these gently flowing exercises to enhance their physical and mental well being?

Alternatively, what about using them to bring lost sheep into your community?  Did you know that in England 46% of the population consider themselves Christian, but only 5% attend Church. I’m sure it’s the same in other countries. I love Churches, but many will go out their way to avoid going into one. OK! you may hold a Tai Chi or Yoga group which will attract people. But  these may also lead them into the arms of other religions.  The great thing about these exercises are that they are Christian, and taught in your Christian community, with your priest or pastor on hand, you have all the right ingredients for them to start exploring their faith.

But these are more than health exercises; they are a moving prayer, which naturally brings worshipers' minds into still waters. They are particularly beneficial to children who, as any Sunday school teacher will know, often find it physically difficult to keep still.  But it’s not only children who find prayer difficult. An American Pew Research poll found that only 48% of Catholics are sure that they can have a personal relationship with God.

There are four steps to become a Living Water Exercise teacher.

Imagine a piano teacher attempting to teach without first mastering the instrument. It would be a challenging task, to say the least. Similarly, as you aspire to become a Living Water Exercise teacher, it's crucial that you can do the exercises yourself.  So, your first step is incredibly simple: practice!  Practice! Practice! Teaching should be an extension of your own spiritual pilgrimage in these exercises anyway.

This then leads you onto the second step. When you think you have reached a good enough standard,  send us a video of you performing the beginner's sequence. You can use your phone if you want. If you're not ready yet, we still want you as a teacher, and you’ll receive feedback on what you need to work on.

But, if you are successful, this leads onto the third step, the teacher training bit.  You have   4 x short videos to watch, covering  health and safety, how to teach them, organise classes, etc. After each video you have a number of questions which aren’t difficult as all the answers are in the videos.

Then you're on your 4th and final step! How are you going to use the Living Water Exercises in your church? How do you see them benefiting your community, and so serving our Lord?

So your last step is to create for us an exciting class plan for your community.   What are your aims and objectives? Where and when do you plan to hold it? Who to? And how are you going to get people into the class? All good questions which we'll help you with.  When it's ready, you're on your way…. Simple! You’ll receive a Living Water Exercise certificate and licence to teach which is vital for insurance, and you’ll also be able to use our administration and advertising material which will save you a great deal of time and hassle.

But our support doesn’t end there. It continues as your class expands and grows, and we are always there to help you and your class.
